Temporary Weight Restrictions
Pursuant to Section 349.16 Wisconsin State Statues, the Town of Lake will be imposing temporary weight restrictions on various town roads effective Monday, February 26, 2023. Restrictions will begin at 12:01 p.m. Signs will be placed at various intersections advising the public that weight restrictions are in effect on that specific road.
If melting snow or rain causes thawing at an unexpected rate the restrictions may be imposed earlier, please watch for the signs.

You may refer to the Town's website www.townlakewi.com for permitting information or contact the administrative office at (715)762-2151. These restrictions will remain in place until the roads have regained their strength and the frost has dissipated. Notices will be posted when the seasonal weight restrictions have been removed.
About Town of Lake, Price County
The Town of Lake is nestled in the northwest corner of Price County, adjacent to the City of Park Falls, in northcentral Wisconsin. The population was 1,128 at the 2016 census. The Town of Lake covers over 17,000 acres.
